History
The firm was formed by the combination of two predecessor firms - Bailey | Elizondo, a financial restructuring and capital advisory firm formed by Howard Bailey and Carlos Elizondo in 2009 and Jigsaw Partners, a turnaround and crisis management practice formed by Bill Brinkman in 2005. The combination couples the core competencies and blends the strategic, operational and financial advisory expertise of both firms into a truly intra-disciplinary offering.
The firm's principals possess deep and broad knowledge of corporate finance and operational restructuring. Howard Bailey has over 25 years of experience as a lender and advisor spread across multiple industries and focused on companies both in and out of bankruptcy. Carlos Elizondo has over 15 years of extensive financial services experience ranging from financial and transaction advisory to public accounting and banking. Bill Brinkman has been advising troubled companies and managing turnaround situations since 1992, and during that time he has represented various debtors, bank groups, and creditors both in and out of bankruptcy court.
